In addition to Deji Alli (CEO) and Jumoke Ogundare (Managing Director, Asset Management), the management team includes: Sadiq Mohammed, Chief Operating OfficerSadiq Mohammed who joined the board of ASL in March 2010, is currently the Chief Operating Officer for ARM Investment Managers (ARM), prior to this, he was the Managing Director of the ARM Proprietary business overseeing the firm's Proprietary Investments & Principal Investments division. He worked for 3 years as a tax and business advisory consultant with Arthur Andersen Nigeria before joining ARM Investment Managers in October 1996. Within ARM, Sadiq rose through the ranks of the Research and Investment Management Unit of the firm to head it in 1999, after which he had oversight of the financial advisory business for about 2 years. Sadiq is an Industrial Chemistry graduate of Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa University, Bauchi. He is a Fellow of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) having earned GARP's Financial Risk Manager (FRM) charter in 2003. He has also attended several technical and management courses both locally and abroad over the last 13 years of his working experience. In addition, Sadiq is currently enrolled for a dual part-time International Wealth Management Executive MBA (IWEMBA) at University of Geneva & Carnegie-Mellon University.
Deji Omotoso - Chief Financial OfficerDeji Omotoso joined ARM in April 2006 and is presently Chief Financial Officer. His core responsibilities include overseeing the Financial Control and Treasury units. Over a span of 22 years, Deji has acquired international and local work experience in various sectors of the industry. Before joining ARM Investment Managers, he worked with Amalgamated Metal Corporation Plc in the United Kingdom as a Financial Controller from 1998 to 2006. Deji started his successful career as a Graduate Trainee with Coopers and Lybrand, Lagos (Now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) as Audit Senior between 1984 and 1989. In 1989, he relocated to the United Kingdom where he worked with Samie Alexander & Co (Management Consultants) and Martin Coleman & Co (Chartered Accountants). He also worked with Price Waterhouse, Morocco as an Audit Manager, Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust as a Principal Internal Auditor and Shaftesbury Housing Group as Group Internal Audit Manager, United Kingdom. Deji has a BSc. (Hons) Social Science in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from the University of Ife, Nigeria. He is also a Professional Member of The Institute of Internal Auditors (MIIA), United Kingdom and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA). Yinka Ogunsulire, Managing Director - Real EstateYinka Ogunsulire is Managing Director, ARM Real Estate, with responsibilities for the business unit and strategies, she joined ARM in 2006. Prior to this, Yinka was Vice President, Capital Alliance Nigeria between 2003 and 2005; where she was in charge of real estate, with responsibilities including portfolio supervision, business development, financial and real estate advisory, research, and fund raising & management. Her past experiences include four years with National Bank Nigeria Limited, as Head of Projects, where she managed the bank's real estate portfolio, and. three years before that, Yinka worked for UBA Trustees as Manager Property Investments. Earlier in her career, Yinka gained vast experience with Knight Frank Rutley in the London and Lagos offices as an associate Supervisor. She also had a stint lecturing in the department of estate management at the University of Nigeria, Enugu, Nigeria. Yinka holds an M Phil. in Land Management from the University of Reading, UK and a B Sc. in Geography from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland. She qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1992 and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Wale Odutola, Managing Director - ARM Securities LimitedWale Odutola is currently Managing Director of ARM Securities Limited, a Stock Broking subsidiary of ARM Investment Managers. A seasoned Portfolio Manager, who has been in charge of ARM's Investment Management and Research Unit over the years. He has extensive global market experience in research and managing financial instruments - equities and fixed income securities. He is responsible for the firm's research and publication of periodicals such as the bi-annual Global Asset Allocation Report (GAAR) and a weekly economic review on Nigeria, published in Business Day as the 'Scorecard'. His career experience includes developing an investment philosophy and approach to asset management, portfolio management, performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting, investment advice and structuring of complex portfolios for multinationals, foundations, endowment funds, pension funds and government agencies. He has been involved in several projects and portfolio mandates in advisory and investment management roles, including the N3.5 billion restructuring of NOLCHEM Plc's balance sheet and the management of the Cross River State Government Reserve Fund. Wale has a BSc. Accounting degree from the University of Lagos and is presently pursuing an MBA programme at the University of Manchester UK.
